Calls or emails to Action against ADOT 89A Lights
The message is simple -- ADOT will not listen to the community. The City Council vote did not represent the will of the people. The majority of people in Sedona do not want continuous roadway lighting on 89A (surveys and petitions prove that); it does not improve safety, it wastes energy, it denigrates the vistas by day and dark skies at night. Call or email.

I want lights. The passage from Safeway/Rodeo Drive to Dry Creek Road is dangerous and I'm always afraid I'm going to hit something. I nailed a cat this week that I could I have avoided had there been any lights whatsoever. I grew up in a city and having no lights for nearly a mile in the center of town in insane.
